Black Twig Pickers: Hobo Handshake

The Black Twig Pickers are an old-time trio consisting of Isak Howell, Mike Gangloff, and Nathan Bowles. Their latest CD contains a generous helping of 22 performances drawn from relatively obscure sources. Featured are such titles as "Cherry River Line," "Walking In The Parlor," "Never Miss Your Mama," and "Old Joe Bone." The detailed liner notes provide informative information about the sources of the material along with tunings of the various instruments used. "Hobo Handshake" is exciting old-time music at its finest.
