Black Twig Pickers: Shows Aug. 15, 17, 18
Hello, all: The Black Twig Pickers have scheduled themselves into a triple- or quadruple-header this week, with fiddle/banjo/guitar/washboard/washtub/whatsis music-making at these coordinates:
Wednesday at the Cellar in Blacksburg from 9 p.m. to midnight or so (no cover charge)
Friday at the Floyd Country Store's Friday jamboree (event kicks off around 6:30 p.m., the Black Twig slot is at 8:30) ($3 admission, I think, 4 bands usually, great dancing)
Saturday at the Roanoke City Market from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (free in the open air) and probably Saturday at the Vinton fiddlers convention in the later afternoon
