Mikel Dimmick Spiral Joy Band: Wake of the Dying Sun King

Newest Spiral Joy Band release is in our hands and ready to ship to yours: The 4-part Wake of the Dying Sun King suite, including (in "A Spiral Dance") what is probably the best and most-extensive singing bowl work yet from the Spiral Joy extended family. "Wake" was performed live in various versions a few times last year, then quoted in a couple of this year's shows. The cd, however, is drawn from three sessions without audiences -- an all-night flight at Glade Baptist Church, and two at-home expeditions-into-the-unknown.
