Black Twig Pickers: Such a weekend

Big, big thanks to everyone who came out to the three Black Twigs shows Friday and Saturday, especially the crazed dancers of the Friday Night Jamboree in Floyd. Frances Little came over from her usual post with the Wild Turkeys and after a few jams in a Floyd parking lot, came onstage and gave us some righteous low-end work, both at the Jamboree and at the Steppin' Out festival in Blacksburg the next day. And Casey (of the famous Medicine Show/Bummer Road Elder clan) picked mandolin for all three -- even did a bit of guitaring and singing late night at the Cellar.
