Miscellaneous: And I've Got A Bell
Well, this particular new addition to the Klang web site is seeing the light of day a little earlier than planned, but there was a security alarm on the Rails---not the rails near Klang HQ which carry the Ironto Special, but the Ruby On Rails which carries the current Klang diesel-electric web locomotive. To close up any potential security holes, we're rolling out our new code with one big new feature.
See up at the top of the page where it says "Klang artists"? There's now a page for each artist in the family, listing their discography, news bits and upcoming shows. Soon, we will also have biographical blurbs (this was what I was waiting for, really.) So if you've got a favorite, find their page and stick a bookmark on it.
(As for that "diesel-electric web locomotive", it's a beaut---a bespoke piece of engineering the boys in the yard call the "Hornpipe." It beats the pants off the old steam engine we inherited from the days of the Chessie System. When time permits, we'll be releasing some plans and source code so you can run your own Hornpipe, should you so desire.)
